The Dallas College AC-1 Course Inventory is for courses offered in 2018-20 academic years including fall, spring and summer semesters. The inventory includes credit courses, academic (ACGM) and workforce education (WECM), unique to State of Texas higher education. The course inventory methodology includes a preliminary assessment of the course descriptions from the course catalog using the recommended Key Words or Phrases provided by AASHE, and an advanced analysis to qualify sustainability-focused and sustainability-inclusive courses by referencing faculty survey data and information about coursework from academic leadership. Supplemental documents enclosed highlight the sustainability-across-the-curriculum programs that were active until Dallas College was consolidated under a single accreditation in June 2020. We are in the process of developing a new Sustainability Scholars program for all schools and campuses of Dallas College. We are teaching our faculty how to incorporate sustainability into their courses by offering monthly Reframing the Curriculum workshops. Additionally, we are working with the Provost's office to get sustainability added to the thematic core objectives, further described in AC-2.

Dallas College recently consolidated from seven independently accredited colleges into one. This assessment reports on the student sustainability education programs developed by the independent colleges before the consolidation. The faculty professional development trainings were developed after the consolidation.
The student sustainbility education programs varied by college: Brookhaven Sustainability Scholars, Cedar Valley QTIPS, and North Lake SAGE Scholars. Each course was counted as a single course offering regardless of the number of sections offered by the faculty participating in the programs.
We are in the process of developing a new collegewide Sustainability Scholars program for all schools and campuses of Dallas College. We are teaching our faculty how to incorporate sustainability into their courses by offering monthly Reframing the Curriculum workshops.
Additionally, we are working with the Provost's office to get sustainability added to faculty's core objectives. Initial discussions have begun with key faculty leaders to align our thematic core objective assessment work with the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Goals.
