A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
Dr. Saxena and Dr. Klaniecki followed the STARS Peer Review Template and guidelines in a two-step peer review process. Dr. Saxena conducted the 1st review of all STARS credits and provided comments, and Dr. Klaniecki conducted the 2nd review of all STARS credits ensuring that we addressed Dr. Saxena's comments or if we needed to provided further clarification.
Dr. Klaniecki also conducted a peer review of the Greenhouse Gas Inventory (OP-1, OP-2) in a new approach that was submitted for an Innovation credit.
Both peer reviewers were provided access to Dallas College's AASHE-STARS portal and were provided access to Dallas College's online folder for accessing documents important to the peer review process. Neither of the peer reviewers were involved in the collection or documentation of Dallas College STARS data.
