A brief description of the program(s):
Over the past four years approximately 30% of our faculty members have attended summer workshops designed to link ideas of sustainability with ideas and core skills in the disciplines/departments. We have also hosted two workshops designed to integrate place-based learning opportunities into courses.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
Each faculty member is provided a stipend of $300 for participation in a sustainability curriculum workshop.
