Does the institution have a postconsumer food waste composting program?:
Yes

A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:

We currently have a pre- and post-consumer composting program for waste generated by multiple university residences. Compostable items are collected and composted at a central location. In addition, the Environmental Sciences department completed a project in collaboration with Dining Services and Facilities Services to review additional composting. Student groups presented recommendations for composting/waste digester systems with business case analyses. We are planning to implement expanded composting or a waste digester system in conjunction with a 2013 dining facility renovation.
