ER-T2-3: Model Room in a Residence Hall
|0.25 / 0.25||
Associate Vice President of Business Services/Community Engagment
Does the institution have an occupied, formally designated model room in a residence hall that is open to students during regular hours and demonstrates sustainable living principles?:
A brief description of the model room:
Puget Sound has a model theme house (i.e. The Live Green House) that illustrates how to live green. This house has dorm-type rooms furnished entirely with sustainable furniture. The entire house structure and systems are made of sustainable materials; e.g. roof, siding, counter tops, carpeting, heating system, and a rain barrel collection/watering system. Through our live green house we show students how to live green in a house as well as in a dormitory.
