Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

The university's Expeditionary House sells bikes to students at very low cost. Bikes used in this program are abandoned bikes left on campus at the end of the academic year. The university also donates some excess bikes to a local charitable organization. Puget Sound also has hosted the annual City of Tacoma Bike Swap the last two years. This event promotes active transportation in the Tacoma community and on campus by connecting 500 attendees who swap (share) bicycles, helmets and other bicycling resources.
