A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage student research in sustainability:
The pilot subcommittee of the Sustainability Advisory Committee recruits research proposals for pilot studies to encourage sustainable practices on campus. This grant process encourages students to design experiments and other research plans to help guide campus decision makers in their attempts to improve the environmental impact of our operations.
