A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :

The university holds professional development seminars during the winter break. During this time the university offers many different classes ranging from computer skills to diversity training to conflict management. One topic included in this recent annual training is sustainability. It covers ways staff can reduce their carbon footprints on and off campus. It also addresses the university's carbon footprint.
