Hybrid

A brief description of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:

The objective of the FDDAÉTS is to contribute to the financing of projects carried out by members of the ÉTS community that promote the integration and application of the principles and objectives of sustainable development.

The FDDAÉTS is financed by automatic, non-mandatory student contributions ($5/student/semester) as well as by an annual contribution of $15,000 from ÉTS.

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

The FDDAÉÉTS is managed by a selection committee composed of representatives designated by the student association and by ÉTS. The selection committee is responsible for determining and allocating a portion of the FDDAÉÉTS funds to selected projects in accordance with pre-established allocation criteria (project sustainability analysis). The selection committee is composed of five members: one (1) member designated by the ÉTS management committee, four (4) members designated by the Student Association (its sustainability advisor, a student club representative, a student representative and another designated member). The committee meets every two weeks to make decisions on the project funding requests received. In addition, the committee selects the winners of the three sustainability grants awarded annually (general, graduate, student clubs).
