A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

The sustainability intern and the sustainability officer at ÉTS updated the list of sustainability researchers used for 2018 STARS submission. They added new researchers (from the last three years) in addition to validating that each researcher present on the 2018 list is still doing research related to sustainable development. Several publications on the scientific news and innovation website of ÉTS "Substance" have allowed targeting new researchers with expertise related to sustainable development. Also, the subjects and fields of research (if any) were updated thanks to the professor-researcher presentation sheets available on the ÉTS website.

Then, a research advisor from the ÉTS research deanery validated and improved the list. She added researchers (professors) based on their research projects, publications and conferences to complete the list.
