A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
The list of courses offered at ÉTS is initially based on the list used in the 2018 submission. The Academic Affairs Coordinator also pulled the list of all courses given in the last year (2020-2021) to update the 2018 list. The number of total courses has decreased compared to the 2018 offering, as this year's offering is based on one academic year (2020-2021) to be more relevant. With the updated course list, the course descriptions, available on the ÉTS website, were also updated to accurately reflect the course offering.
The list was then analyzed by the sustainability officer and the sustainability intern to highlight courses that are sustainability focused and courses that are sustainability inclusive based on STARS 2.2 certification criteria. Some courses were excluded from the sustainability (focused/inclusive) courses because their content changes from one year to another.
The attached document is divided into three sections: the complete 2020-2021 course offering, the sustainability-focused courses (undergraduate and graduate), and the sustainability-inclusive courses (undergraduate and graduate).
