An initiative of the Community Relations portfolio, the “Green Team” (working title) is an employee volunteer group that identifies and participates in community activities related to social issues (environmental sustainability, human rights, social awareness, etc) to increase awareness and solidify its reputation as a caring community partner.

A brief description of the employee educators program’s target audience (1st program):

The Green Team was formed in April 2022 and has participated in one initiative, a campus clean-up for Earth Day. It is anticipated to expand in the future to include further awareness and educational services, targeted towards the main non-academic staff body and focused on sustainability topics.

Because this initiative is so new, there is not yet a website and the percentage of employees served is lower than expected in the future.
