Currently, Douglas College student orientations do not prominently focus on sustainability. The programming has some indirect sustainability elements (e.g., not printing unnecessarily, providing reusable water bottles and bags to students, etc.), but it is not a prominent focus. The orientation program is being reviewed and updated, however, and the College hopes to move in this direction now that we are getting back to in person programming.
