There are three car-share services operating on or near our campuses: Zipcar, Evo (six spaces) and Modo (one space), and Douglas College students are offered a discounted rate at one of the service operators (Zipcar).

Currently, EV charging is offered for no cost (other than payment for parking), and EV stalls are located in preferred locations.

Douglas College currently has 10 level two chargers at each campus (New Westminster and Coquitlam) and plan to add more in the future.

Go Green Allowance – employee benefit

A "Go Green" Allowance is provided Semesterly to all BCGEU staff members to support commuting by public or alternative transportation. The allowance ($180) equals the cost of a semesterly on-campus parking pass per semester for three semesters per year for regular employees.
