The University's Green Fund aims to financially support the initiatives of members of the university community in the area of eco-responsibility.
Goals

This fund makes it possible to encourage and contribute to the development of eco-responsible initiatives at UQAM and to encourage members of the university community to get involved in this development. supports the implementation of UQAM's Integrated Ecoresponsibility Action Plan (PAIME) with a view to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040, PAIME's flagship commitment.
Administration and management

Under the responsibility of the Vice-Rectorate for Human and Organizational Development (VRADHO), the Fund is managed by the Organizational Development Department (SDO). The Institutional Committee for the Application of the Eco-Responsibility Policy (CIME) monitors the allocation of this fund and recommends the projects to be financed.


A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

The green fund selection committee is made up of 2 members of the Institutional Committee for Eco-Responsibility Policy (at least 1 student), the Assistant Director of Student Life Services and the Director of the Division of energy and the environment. The projects selected by the selection committee are approved by the Institutional Committee for Environmental Policy.
