Actualités-UQAM is a weekly electronic newsletter sent to the entire university community. It gathers most of the news concerning UQAM in environmental matters especially.

The UQAM.TV platform brings together a multitude of videos highlighting aspects of UQAM's fundamental mission: training activities, research and creation, community services, student life, university outreach. UQAM sends a newsletter to their Ecoambassadors network serving as an update on the progress of eco-responsability action plan and upcoming events. In 2020, eco-responsibility team adopted a brand signature for its communications

La plateforme UQÀM.TV regroupe une multitude de vidéos valorisant les aspects de la mission fondamentale de l’UQÀM: activités de formation, recherche et création, services aux collectivités, vie étudiante, rayonnement de l'université. Une catégorie uniquement sur le développement durable est d’ailleurs présente sur le site.

All information on buildings, green spaces and all current achievements and projects related to sustainability are provided on the central sustainability website. The site displays the university’s new visual identity. The university also has installed posters/stickers offering tips for being more eco-responsible, for example in classrooms to encourage its users to turn off the lights.
About a hundred digital billboards posted all over the campus broadcast UQAM news, including the one on eco-sustainability achievements.
The 110 Ecoambassadors offices spaces has a green door name plate to identify them.
Gardens and beehives run by students at the Science Complex include signage and explanatory vignettes, especially for native plants.

Toutes les informations sur les bâtiments,les espaces verts et de toutes réalisations et projets en cours liés à l’écoresponsabilité sont fournies au site Web de développement durable contenant d’ailleurs une nouvelle identité visuelle. L’université installe également plusieurs affiches proposant des astuces afin d’être plus écoresponsable par exemple dans les salles de classes afin d’encourager ses usagers d’éteindre les lumières. Des affiches seront également bientôt installées dans le pavillon Président-Kennedy qui informe sur les énergies renouvelables et les caractéristiques de durabilité de l'université telles que l'ajout de panneaux solaires, la modernisation de l'éclairage des équipements, la ventilation des systèmes de contrôle automatisés, etc.

Each summer since 2017, the green roof tour organized by the professors with their students includes Montréal’s Convention Center roof which is supervised by the Urban Agriculture Laboratory associated with the UQAM Institute of Environmental Sciences (ISE)

One-off eco-responsible 2019 visits are: gardens in the atrium of psychology department, installations of the heating systems in the science pavilion and visits to urban apiaries led by students. By example, the visit to L’EN vert garden, an urban jungle managed by staff (psychology department) offered a tour of the garden, presentation of maintenance and creation process as well as the presentation of the benefits of such an environment.
Established by UQAM, the Cœur des sciences (Heart of Science) is a scientific cultural center whose mission is to contribute to the development of scientific culture among the general public, as well as UQAM community. It provides institutional leadership for scientific walks and visits, on and off campuses. Between 2017-2020, more than a 100 of urban ecology walks and vistes includes : gardens and beehives at the Science Complex, L’EN vert garden an urban jungle, the green roof tour and outside the campus the walk tour on hot urban areas and how to counter them. https://coeurdessciences.uqam.ca/

On its site, UQAM offers a web page with lots of tips for taking eco-responsible actions on a daily basis. It includes a list of tips that will help users reduce their ecological footprint. These touch on the subject of reducing water consumption and energy efficiency among others.

Le site comporte une liste de conseils qui permettront à ses utilisateurs de réduire leur empreinte écologique. Ces derniers touchent le sujet de réduction de la consommation de l’eau et l’efficacité énergétique entre autres. Également dans le cadre de la semaine Québécoise de réduction des déchets, des capsules vidéos, balados, et conférences en ligne, offraient des astuces pour un mode de vie zero déchets dans la salle de bain et réduire le gaspillage alimentaire.
