Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:

See the attached document for the inventory of professors with research in the field of eco-responsibility including the list of the staff working with them (professors 270 + staff 115 : 385 people). In the same file, we put also the list of all the professors doing research in the Université du Québec à Montréal and also the staff working with them (Professors 1'143 + staff 449 = 1549 people).

A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

To create the list of all UQAM professors with research in the field of eco-responsibility, we used the list of research professors who are members of the Institute of Environmental Sciences (83 people: https : //ise.uqam.ca/professeures-professeurs/). Subsequently, we added to this inventory the names of the research professors found in the directory of UQAM professors (https://professeurs.uqam.ca/) using the keywords of the vocabulary for the united nations sustainable development goals (https://ecoresponsable.uqam.ca/champ) (Total of 1'143 professors and specifically 270 professors who are doing research in the eco-responsability topics.

406 research personnel (technicians, professionals, assistants) were added for the total number of research personnel and 115 research personnel for those working specifically in the field of eco-responsible research. These data come from the Global Compensation Service database which we crossed with the names of the professor responsible of these staff.

What is listed annually at the Institute of Environmental Sciences (ISE) are the funding received by two or more professors, members of the ISE who are not attached to the same department. This makes it possible to report on the interdisciplinary research that is carried out by the members of the ISE. There are generally around ten projects that meet these criteria that receive grants. The information is tabulated in the annual reports on the ISE website in Annex 5. https://ise.uqam.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/28/2021/05/rapport_annuel_ise_2019_2020_vf.pdf p. A12
