A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
Basically, all students who are first come into NTHU are all permitted to join this orientation activities. In the new student orientation, NTHU will share all the useful information such as dorm application, mental health, course selection, scholarships and financial assistance, and student association. NTHU will introduce the campus, for example, how NTHU sets up a Library of One Hundred Ferns to maintain and extend existing ecosystems and their biodiversity of plants. Besides, during the orientation, NTHU will introduce some policies related to students such as no disposable tableware, plastic bags, and plastic straws will be provided when dining in the restaurant on campus.
