Missouri S&T has participated with the other University of Missouri System campuses to develop a Campus Sustainability Survey and to develop system-level Green/Environmentally Preferred Purchasing Policy Best Practices.

A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

o Missouri S&T collaboration within the University of Missouri System has been to promote the drive for sustainability education and advocacy through the system and the four represented universities. Goals and objectives of the collaboration are focused on dissemination of information throughout the system, as well as, affecting policy administration that governs the universities. The sustainability coordinators and represented sustainability student groups meet monthly to develop these goals.
