Does the institution offer housing options to accomodate the special needs of transgender and transitioning students (either as a matter of policy or as standard practice)?:
Yes

A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:

Working closely with Residential Services, the Diversity & Equity Office provides a safe and welcoming environment for all transgendered students. Transgendered students must identify themselves to the Residential Services Office or the Rainbow Centre, and then a discussion or meeting takes place with the student to determine their needs. Once information has been received, a decision is made in the best interests of the student.
