A brief description of the metering system:
Some of the buildings on the Waterloo Campus are set up with individual utility meters for electricity and natural gas. All buildings on the Kitchener and Brantford Campus have their own utility meters for electricity and natural gas. While these meters are not connected to a user friendly interface showing energy consumption, consumption values can be read off the meters. These utility meters represent all energy consumption since Laurier's boilers and chillers are powered with natural gas or electricity from the grid.
