A brief description of the technology used:

Waterloo Campus:
The centrally controlled building automation system maintains a temperature of 22-23 degrees Celsius during work day hours.

Brantford Campus:
The Carnegie Building, Grand River Hall, the SC Johnson Building and the Research and Academic Centre use timers to regulate temperature based on occupancy hours. The building automation system changes the temperature at 7am and again at 10pm.
