A brief description of the institution's water recovery and reuse initiatives:

The East & West Residence Halls' greywater system collects and treats water from showers and sinks. This greywater provides all the irrigation for the landscaping around the residence halls, up to 90,000 gallons per month. The greywater in turn is used to water landscaping. There are also some green roofs on the residence halls, permeable concrete,

A brief description of the institution's initiatives to replace plumbing fixtures, fittings, appliances, equipment, and systems with water-efficient alternatives:

Retrofit practices include the installation of: waterless urinals across the entire campus, hydration stations to minimizes plastic bottle waste stream, and low-flow shower heads and faucets in all residence halls, and low-flow faucets in all restrooms. Additionally, all plumbing fixtures are hands-free and auto shut-off.
