A brief description of the institution’s community garden:

05.17.23: In the middle of the Pitzer main Campus between our residence halls and academic quad, we have a student garden that is approximately 1.5 acres. It is a vibrant student run space that is guided by staff from the adjacent north campus Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability. In the campus garden we have chickens in one big coop and two smaller coops, host programs, give garden tours and classes, and grow a variety of vegetables and herbs.
