Pitzer College purchased 4 trash and recycling compactors that are solar operated along with WIFI notifications for when containers need to be emptied. The manufacturer is Big Belly and our students, staff and faculty get a kick out of inputting trash or recycling and seeing the containers compact down the trash and recycling, thus greatly reducing the footprint of the items.
