A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The main campus is situated in the city of Claremont adjacent to Claremont McKenna and Harvey Mudd Colleges, and there are no satellite campuses except for the Robert Redford Conservancy which is detached from the campus and situated across the street on Foothill Blvd north of the campus. The rest of the campus is all inclusive and locally positioned.

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
We have a biological field station that is 85 acres and is part of our campus property. Pitzer owns a 12 acre portion of land that surrounds our Redford Conservancy building and also a parcel of land within the 85 acres, which is shared by the college consortium. Biological experimentation and environmental education is conducted there with students and community members.
