HEC's expertise is often sought by provincial policy makers on many suject, including sustainability. For example, HEC's Chaire de gestion du secteur de l'énergie has been collaborating with Transition Énergétique Québec during the recent provincial consultation on the Plan de transition énergétique 2018-2023. The plan set ambitious targets for Québec's green house gas emission for the next 5 years based on scientific guidances.
