A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :

We have chosen tree academic year in order to build up the most complete assessment allowed. All courses offered in the last three school year (2015-2017) were perused and shorted critically according to the article: Key competencies in sustainability: references framework for academic program development. Thus, each course selected has at least one of the five competency described in this article. The definition of “sustainability” used when identifying courses was as follows: Courses that gives the means to student to improve social and environmental challenges while guaranteeing that economic ways will support those means.
Direction of sustainable development with registrar ran a list of all courses given from the last tree academic years (2015-2016-2017). From this list, “sustainability “courses were selected. Then, all courses with the following criteria were excluded:
- Courses that contained less than 5 students were removed from the list.
- No HEC credited courses
- Special topics (courses from preparatory year/no-credits courses)
