UW-Platteville's Green Campus Project student organization and The Office of Sustainability partner with the Platteville Main Street Sustainability Committee to support the Mineral Street Community Gardens. We have donated capital investments (lumber) as well as labor for construction and maintenance. We also serve as the back-up maintenance labor in case the gardens ever are in need of dire repair or weeding work which helps alleviate pressure on the Sustainability Committee and helps make the project more possible.
