All classes at the University utilize a textbook rental program- students do not purchase any books for their classes, instead they are all rented. Students each pay $6.46 per credit (1-11 credits) or $77.52 maximum (12 to 18 credits) per semester for this service.
The program not only dramatically reduces educational costs for students (which in turn increases access), but also reduces waste and our campus carbon footprint (due to a reduction in shipping/transportation of individual books to students).
