The Harmful Algal Bloom Research Initiative (HABRI) provides updated research findings to agency resource managers to manage and reduce harmful algal blooms, particularly those occurring in the Great Lakes. A network of ten separate higher education institutions, led by the Ohio State University and the University of Toledo, have collaborated since 2015 to provide HABRI’s ongoing research findings, summarized here:
