Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

Due to the pandemic, the university was unable to closely track student participation in community service for Parts 1 and 2 of this credit. Instead, the Senior Survey sent to undergraduate students for the period from 2015/2016 - 2019/2020 was used to estimate community service.

PART 1:
The total number of enrolled students listed in this credit includes only undergraduate students that responded to the Senior Survey, which is why this metric is significantly lower than the metric reported in the PRE-5 credit. The survey results indicate that 50% of respondents participated in community service.

PART 2:
The total number of student community service hours is based on a 33% of respondents indicating they participated in the Cardinal Quarter, which requires a minimum of 35 hours of service per week for 8-weeks. For the remaining 67% of students who indicated they had volunteer, proxy data from early 2019 of 374 hours of service per year was used to determine the final calculated hours. While some of these 67% of students may have also participated in Cardinal Quarter, we did not estimate additional community service hours to ensure our final sums were unduplicated and conservative.
