Does the institution cover sustainability topics in new employee orientation and/or in outreach and guidance materials distributed to new employees, including faculty and staff?:
Yes

A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
The Center for Teaching and Learning’s (CTL) New Staff Orientation Program is designed to help acclimate new staff members to the college and connect them with the necessary resources that will assist them in their long term job success at the college. During each New Staff Orientation day session, new staff members who attend are provided with an overview of the college’s sustainability efforts on campus by CTL staff and the Executive Vice President of Administrative Services. New staff attendees are provided with information on how to become involved with the college’s sustainability initiatives through tips on how to recycle, purchase “green” products on campus and where to find information about the sustainability focused professional development opportunities that they can attend.
