A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :
Humber is a member of the Ontario Sustainability Coordinators Association (OSCA) which meets annually to discuss sustainability on campuses in Ontario, and shares information to further enhance integration of sustainability on Ontario college campuses. There is an association member email list that allows the group to discuss issues and share information throughout the year.
Humber also collaborates with other colleges through associations such as the Ontario College Facilities Management Association which meets quarterly in person and connects regularly to discuss various subjects, including sustainability. Lastly, Humber College collaborates with other Ontario colleges and the Ontario government in relation to energy management systems, and providing input for new energy use and reduction reporting regulations in the province.
