A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:

In the Fall of 2012, Humber embarked on an extensive and collaborative consultation process to develop its next five-year institutional Strategic Plan. As part of this process, a Kick-Off Survey for faculty and staff was launched in December 2012. The anonymous, online survey was utilized to evaluate employee satisfaction and gauge early opinions on a series of key questions related to working at Humber and the strategic planning process. More than 800 faculty, support staff and administrators responded to the survey.

Humber Human Resources has conducted Culture and Climate Surveys over the years, and as a key element of Humber’s newly developed 2013-2018 Strategic Plan, the college has committed to executing an annual Employee Engagement Survey as a way to provide regular opportunities for all faculty and staff to engage in dialogue related to Humber’ strategic direction and priorities.
