The electronic waste recycling company Humber College works with is an approved processor by the Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES). OES is a not-for-profit industry organization that oversees the responsible reuse and recycling of waste electronics in Ontario.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

Staff and faculty place a request with our IT Services staff to have electronic waste picked up from their area. Once enough volume has been collected we work with a local electronic waste recycling company (approved by the OES), that picks it up for proper recycling.
