The college's vendor evaluation matrix examines whether vendors consider sustainability and energy efficiency of equipment and delivery methods.
Preference is given to products and services that are recognized for meeting independent high environmental standards, eliminate or reduce waste and are purchased from local resources. Policies were adopted in 2008 and updated May 2010 and all our vendors in our a competitive bid processes must be compliant with the code.
Humber reserves the right to terminate a contract without penalty for non-compliance with the terms set out within the vendor code of conduct including health and safety regulations, the Environmental Protection Act, associated regulations and other applicable legislation.
