A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed :
Humber makes every effort to ensure EPEAT computers are purchased for campus use. We worked with the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM) to find a vendor for our computer purchases. The OECM provides collaborative purchasing opportunities to Ontario's Education and Broader Public Sector. We required that the winning vendor must provide EPEAT certified products. Other computers used on campus include Apple which are currently listed as Gold on EPEAT's website. All computer purchases on campus go through our IT department so they can ensure only our approved vendors are used. http://www.oecm.ca/index.html
