The energy policy and 2020 Strategic Plan both include a statement about building and conducting major renovations to LEED Silver standards, at minimum.

This will be implemented as projects are carried out. LEED standards will guide the measurable objectives. The university's primary focus will be on utility savings.

The new dining service contract includes several stipulations about increasing the use of local foods in Transy's dining service.

There are three dimensions on which local is measured. This first year of the contract, Sodexo will develop measurement strategies. After that, there are specifics targets for increasing the purchase of local foods in relation to the three dimensions.
