A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

The SESN is a group of regional sustainability leaders for the southeast region and initiates and encourages ongoing mentoring relationships between these institutions. The efforts include: program & policy development, student group support, GHG reporting initiatives and more. There is also a monthly call and a summer onsite workshop that help facilitate the development of sustainability programming.

Additionally, Staff working with Furman University to understand how to utilize SIMAP data entry for GHG accounting/inventory and reporting to Second Nature.

A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :

SESN summer meeting hosted by a different college/university each year. Topics selected by participating institutions prior and speakers selected to discuss/facilitate sessions over 2 days.

Annual Sustainability Fellows trip to Furman University. We took Fellows students to Furman for an interchange to share best practices and learn more about other sustainable universities.
