The University sunset this program a number of years ago for a variety of reasons.

Yes

Sewanee supports it's own internal motor pool, as well as the Zipcar program that is available to students, faculty and staff. ZipCars in calendar year 2019. Pulled at start of Covid due to obvious reasons.

Yes

A brief description of the electric vehicle recharging stations:

A Schneider EV charging station was installed near Ayres Hall in 2016. It is a dual charger on a single pole. The two parking spaces designated for EV charging are also labeled for Service vehicle use.


Does the institution have incentives or programs to encourage employees to live close to campus?:
Yes

A brief description of the incentives or programs to encourage employees to live close to campus:

Reduction in lease fees for employees who own a house on the University land. Also, employees can enter into land negotiations during a finalizing step of non-employee initiated sales. The University has zoned an area surrounding the downtown for primary residences only, thereby negating that land use for secondary homes.
