Website URL for the central sustainability website:
Does the institution have a sustainability newsletter or social media platform that focuses specifically on campus sustainability?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:

There are two newsletters, one bi-weekly that comes from the Sustain Sewanee program of the Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability (OESS) and one monthly newsletter that comes from OESS itself. The Sustain Sewanee newsletter is written by work study students and overseen by the Sustainability Coordinator. Its various sections highlight environmental art, a news article pertinent to campus/community, an article drawn from the greater global movement, highlights of environmentally active members of campus, and a "green dictionary" section which translates common eco-jargon and/or enlightens with new eco-themed words/concepts. The OESS newsletter, Field Notes, features stories from one of the office's programs - University Farm, Domain Research, Domain Management, Sustain Sewanee - and updates and opportunities from all the programs. Field Notes also contains sections for collaborative news updates/opportunities, and an "in the media"-type section wherein members of OESS share what news is inspiring them, what they are listening to, watching, and/or reading. Field Notes is composed collaboratively by the OESS staff.

A brief description of other comprehensive sustainability outreach materials and publications not covered above:

The OESS website has a robust selection of management plan and master plan documents available to the public. THese are the University's guiding sustainability materials. Additionally, the website has a draft section which highlights all the University's sustainability initiatives - these pages are not yet published and will likely be highlighted in the next STARS report. Finally, the website also contains a "news" section where folks can see past editions of both newsletters. Soon there will be a news archive where newsletters from more than 2 years ago can be found - again, this section is not yet published and will likely be highlighted in the next STARS report.
