A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

The Basic Needs Program including Pirates' Pantry is open to all currently enrolled MJC students. The goal is to help meet the basic needs of students through the availability of free food as well as on and off-campus resources.
Pirates' Pantry is a full service grocery market that offers a variety of goods available for enrolled students at no cost. On-the-go food; snacks, refreshments, and drinks.
