Eco-reps: The Georgia Southern Eco-Reps are student leaders who help to raise awareness about ecological issues, encourage environmentally and socially responsible behavior in their halls, mates, and peers, and plan related events and activities. They also organize group activities, collaborative projects, and represent the Eco-Reps Program at various campus events.

Our Campus Community Garden hosts close to 50 students annually, helping them cultivate skills to learn how to grow their own produce and other sustainability-related lifestyle topics.

We host a Sustainability Seminar Speaker series, which brings experts in parts of sustainability. Generally, we host about 3 speakers annually.

Southern Adventures is the university community’s resource for adventure programming. Southern Adventures provides guided backpacking, sea kayaking, canoeing, and cycling trips that range from weekend trips around the southeast to week-long trips across the country.

Sustain Southern partners with academic classes including Graphic Design, Biology courses, First-Year Experience, and Honors courses to include sustainability in the curriculum.
