UVA's School of Medicine earned the nationally recognized Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine. This is the ninth consecutive year the School of Medicine has received this recognition. UVA's School of Medicine was one of 46 recipients.
