Employees are provided with up to 8 face-to-face free and confidential consultation and resource services per issue. Unlimited 24/7/365 telephonic support services are included. Comprehensive work-life consultation and referral services, specializing in child care, elder care, care for persons with disabilities, convenience services, pet care and other needs that meet challenges faced by our employees each day at home and work. Employees have access to a Worklife specialist around the clock, seven days a week. Employees receive up to 30 minutes of telephonic or face-to-face attorney consultations for an unlimited number of legal issues. Typical matters may include divorce and child custody, contractual and consumer disputes, real estate and landlord tenant, car accidents and insurance disputes. Employees receive up to 30 minutes of telephonic financial consultations for an unlimited number of issues. Typical matters may include budgeting, credit, debt, retirement, college funding, buying vs. leasing, mortgages/refinancing, financial planning, and similar issues. Employees are invited to attend lunch and learn seminars in the workplace. Typical lunch and learn seminars include nutrition basics, getting and keeping a good credit score, buying a house, planning ahead for retirement, managing student loan debt, dreaming of retirement, caring for aging loved ones, estate planning and wills and trusts, mindfulness, adopting a healthy lifestyle, and blended families. Student Affairs has a comphrensive resource for students at http://go.sdsu.edu/student_affairs/healthwellness.aspx. Students are provided access to a number of resources, including but not limited to, Counseling & Psychological Services, Health Promotion, Student Health Center, Pride Center, Women’s Center, Intercultural Center, Transfer Center, and several other affinity groups
