A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
A comprehensive survey was sent out to all faculty and staff in April 2017. Questions covered mode split, knowledge of current alternatives, and interest in possible interventions. A 10% sampling rate was achieved for faculty, and a 23% sampling rate was achieved for staff.
