Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

The Lion's Pantry is a student-run food bank for students on Penn State's University Park campus. Its mission is to address and mitigate student hunger, and its purpose is to help provide sustenance to Penn State students experiencing food insecurity. Every student with a valid Penn State ID may access The Lion’s Pantry services. The pantry, established in 2014, accepts non-perishables and toiletries which are then provided to graduate and undergraduate students. Monetary donations are also accepted. In addition to providing food, the Lion's Pantry Club aims to raise awareness of food insecurity and related issues like student poverty and hunger, and reduce the stigma surrounding these issues.
