ScholarSphere is Penn State’s institutional repository service for research and scholarly work produced by the university community. Through ScholarSphere, Penn State researchers - faculty, students, and staff alike - are able to share their work on a worldwide scale and be assured of its long-term preservation and thus ongoing access.

Penn State no longer offers a university-wide APC fund for employees. However University Libraries provides a list of journals that offer an APC discount to Penn State authors. Penn State Libraries Open Publishing is the Open Access imprint of The Pennsylvania State University Libraries.
