Yes

A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

NAIT offers two formal elements of its new employee orientation. The first is one-on-one meetings with the HR Assistant responsible for the new employee's work area. This session covers a variety of elements including: compensation, benefits, pension, NAIT policies/procedures, pay practices, NAIT's self-service HR system and the NAIT employee portal. Included in the employee portal discussion is a site tour, identifying sources of information on policies, benefit info and our Sustainability site/initiatives. Examples of the information reviewed are below.

The second element of new employee orientation is a formal meeting with new staff and a number of senior staff members of the organization to discuss NAIT's Mission, Vision, Values as well as other elements of the "NAIT Advantage". Included in this discussion are examples on NAIT's commitments to its staff and the community. Included in this discussion are often references to the many examples of sustainability at NAIT as well as its Strategy, Policy and its Corporate Social Responsibility brochure.
